Kranti Yoga School is based on Ashtanga Yoga and Vinyasa Flow. We teach the fundamentals of traditional Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series along with dynamism of Vinyasa Flow Classes. Both of these complement each other, the prescribed sequence of The Primary Series along with the creativity of Vinyasa Flow Classes. We call it Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. We offer you a unique programme that allows you to further develop your practice effectively with immediate results. Courses start with Ashtanga Yoga Led Classes that then progress to Self-Practice Classes as you gain familiarity with The Primary Series. These are taught alongside workshops that have been devised to build strength and flexibility through the technical focus of hip opening, jumping back, transitions and back bending. All these are the fundamental elements of becoming a skilled practitioner of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga.Our programme was developed by Kranti Yoga School when he observed that moving the body through The Primary Series everyday was not enough to build your practice. He therefore devised these workshops in order to bring attention to the areas that often prove problematic in practice. The fundamentals of these workshops have also been put into dynamic vinyasa sequences in classes such as Hip Opening Flow and Back Bending Flow which have since been developed.Each and every one of our students arrives with his or her own development needs based on prior experience and knowledge of Ashtanga Yoga and Vinyasa Flow. Each and every student is unique in terms of body type, strength and flexibility. We therefore recognise that personalised learning is at the heart of Kranti Yoga School as we tailor our programme to suit the needs of our Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga students.

 Tarun Kranti Agrawal
 Founder and Director
 Tarun Agrawal is founder and director of The Kranti Yoga Village, was born in 1980 in Chhattisgarh, Middle India. In 2001, having stayed in several different ashrams, he taught Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga at OSHO International Ashram, Pune. At the same time, he furthered his training at Jagan Mohan Palace in Mysore over the course of 3 years. Here, he was able to deepen his knowledge of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. Since then, he has dedicated himself to teaching others this dynamic and powerful form of yoga.In 2007, Tarun started his own yoga shala (school) in Goa and has since been teaching Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga.
 Morwenna Truscott
 Morwenna teaches Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series, Anatomy and Alignment, Myofascia Release and Yoga Philosophy.In the words of Yogi Bhajan, Morwenna believes, ‘To be happy in life you must do two things everyday, you must sweat and you must laugh.’ She hopes to ensure you do both on a daily basis at Kranti Yoga.
 Amelia Valls Ferrando
 Amelia’s journey as a teacher started 10 years ago, having been trained in Pilates, Fitness and in Personal Training. She worked with a diverse range of people and communities. At that point she realized how much she loved to help people have a better, active life and decided to study a degree in Exercise and Sport Sciences, in Spain.In 2014 she completed her 500 hrs YTTC at Kranti Yoga. Amelia teaches Ashtanga Yoga Led and Self-Prctice Classes, Anatomy & Alignment of the Primary Series and Technical Workshops.
 Grace Watson Farmer
 Grace, in 2014 she completed her 200 hour YTTC with Kranti Yoga, where she reignited her enthusiasm for movement and bodywork. She has been exploring the world and teaching yoga full time ever since and has never looked back! Grace joins up this season to teach Ashtanga Led Classes, Vinyasa Flows and Anatomy and Alignment.
 Béatrice Ayotte
 Béatrice, she completed her 200 hr YTTC. With a passion for Vinyasa Flow, the traditional Ashtanga Yoga helped her gain a deeper knowledge of details and technique and a better understanding of the human body. Since graduating, she quit fashion school to pursue her goal of becoming a full time yoga instructor. She has been teaching various styles of yoga in her hometown including Yin Yoga, Hatha, Ashtanga Yoga and Vinyasa Flow. She has also branched out, teaching yoga to kids after completing her training in yoga for children in Montreal. Beatrice at shala this season teaching Ashtanga Led Classes, Pranayama, Teaching Methodology and Vinyasa Flow.
 Anna Smullen
 Anna ,she done in October 2014 200 hours YTTC, and Anna returned in October 2015 to complete a further 100 hours training before taking up the position as Teaching Methodology teacher on the 200 YTTC . Anna teaching Primary Series led and Vinyasa flow classes which incorporate guided meditation through yoga nidra. Anna also manages The Karma Yoga Program along with the continuous professional development of all our teachers.
 Sally Bee
 Sally, always on the hunt for new escapades, Sally has always had a strong desire to learn and discover. She came to Kranti Yoga in 2015 to learn more about the tradition of yoga and to deepen and develop her own practice, subsequently completing her 200hr YTTC and 100hr Teacher Training Plus. Sally teaching this season Pranayama and Meditation.
 Dhira Krishna Rupa Das
  He is currently serving as a preacher and counselor in Goa. He conducts regular courses of Bhagavat Gita and Srimad Bhagwatamin English and Hindi at different places in Goa. He has acquired Bhaktishastri, a certified course based on the teachings of Bhagavat Gita.He joined ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness) full time in 2007 in Goa and has been initiated by H. H. Radhanath Swami Maharaj.Dhira joins The Kranti Yoga Team to teach philosophy, in particular to teach Yoga In Gita. We are delighted to learn and share with him.
 Emily Ruygrok
 Emily,born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand, Emily grew up with a huge passion for holistic health. She studied Nutritional Science at university and soon found herself attending yoga classes, falling completely in love with the practice largely due to the effects on her mentally and spiritually. She completed her first 200hr YTTC at Shiva Shakti Yoga, a Hatha Yoga course focusing deeply on the traditional Indian teachings. During this training she discovered the Kranti Yoga Village, a place she immediately felt a strong connection with. She completed a second YTTC directly after, deepening both her practice and teaching skills.
 Julia Gavin
 Julia was originally a Mathematics teacher from UK until she stumbled across Kranti Yoga while travelling in India. She immediately signed up for a Yoga Teacher Training Course, 200 hours followed by 300 hours and was teaching at Kranti Yoga on completion in 2012. Julia supports Kranti Yoga and is responsible for the daily running of courses at the shala. She teaches Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series Led Classes, Ashtanga Yoga Self-Practice, Anatomy and Alignment of the Primary Series, Teaching Methodology, Yogic Lifestyle and Restorative Yoga.
 Mara and Shanti
 Mara and Shanti make up our Guest Relations Team. Although Shanti can be mostly found sleeping on the job, Mara is fondly known at Kranti as the 'Mother of the Shala.From very first enquiry, to confirming booking details and sorting your arrivals, Mara is in charge of everything guest related and particularly loves leaving handwritten notes for late night arrivals so they feel at home! She prides herself on making the whole booking process as easy, informative and carefree as possible so that you can join us in the magical Kranti Yoga Village and have the time of your life!
 Robert McWilliams
 Rob completed his 500 hr YTTC at Kranti Yoga. He has since been teaching Vinyasa Flow in his hometown in Ireland but is keen to return to India to further develop his practice and his yoga teaching skills.Rob returns to Patnem this season to join the Karma Yoga program.
